I am pretty horrified by Desteni, myself. But I wouldn't say their numbers are growing that much. They've been going a few years now, and there are still only around a thousand people listed as members, most of whom, if you look, either haven't got involved by posting anything, or else have only done so once or twice.

I just heard an interview about the cult and want to thank Kendra for confirming my suspicions about them. There really seems to be very little criticism about them at this point and I'm glad you have stepped to the plate. I just stumbled across them yesterday and spent hours of reading their website to attempt to figure out what they're about and walked away more disturbed than fascinated. Fractured minds at work there. A strange mixture of profound insight mixed with harsh vulgar discontinuity. Did you notice how much money and commitment they ask to be part of their inner circle? That in itself invalidates their whole diatribe against the MONEY as CONTROL point of view!
